Lucciano Santamaria threw for 73 yards while completing 85.7% of his passes. Owen Chait was his top target, gaining 68 total yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Jack Dally rushed for 28 yards.
Bernards can attribute much of their success to Connor Laverty, who threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. Terrence Hanratty was in the mix as well, providing Bernards with two touchdowns.
Governor Livingston's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bernards, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Governor Livingston will head out on the road to face off against Summit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Summit presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Governor Livingston in New Jersey (Summit is ranked 57th, while Governor Livingston is ranked 210th). As for Bernards, they will be playing at home against Ramsey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
