The Silver Valley Trojans can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Victor Valley Christian 74-23 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-17.
Damien Grundy was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with six assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Jasean Phillips, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Silver Valley's win was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.3 points. As for Victor Valley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Silver Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Excelsior Charter will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Victor Valley Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lucerne Valley is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
