Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peyton). They strolled past the Calhan Bulldogs with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 49-30. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Peyton to victory, but perhaps none more so than ArRhiya Brown, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Scarlett Clark, who posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Calhan still got an impressive performance from Aubrie Waugh, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 12 points.
Peyton moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Calhan, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

As for Calhan, they will head out to challenge Burlington at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burlington will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Calhan surely won't give up without a fight.
