Deacon Bernadt and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Deacon Bernadt's big game helped extend Johnson-Brock's winning streak to six on Friday. Bernadt turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 49 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making two total tackles, and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Johnson-Brock pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Bernadt's next game is against Lourdes Central Catholic on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Braxton Bridger was instrumental in extending Johnson-Brock's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Bridger as he rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
For the year, Bridger has run in those 3 touchdowns while averaging 65.7 rushing yards per game.

Freeman's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Easton Buss
Freeman's 11-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Easton Buss. On Friday Buss rushed for 60 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 86 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Quentin Behrends was instrumental in extending Johnson-Brock's winning streak to six on Friday. Behrends rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.
