Aledo (Texas)'s 9-game winning streak, with a 42-30 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Wildcats led 21-7 at the half.
Guyer expanded its lead to 19 points entering the fourth quarter. GHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Logan Helal touchdown run.
The Denton school's most effective player was Helal. The junior wide receiver threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns.
Pate Davis played well for the Bearcats. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns.
Aledo came in giving up 8.3 points per game this season.
The loss comes after Aledo defeated Cleburne 45-7 last week.
