Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stevens Point). They claimed a resounding 85-32 win over the Chippewa Falls Cardinals. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Cardinals are ranked 401st), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Stevens Point, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Chippewa Falls, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevens Point will take on D.C. Everest in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Stevens Point has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Chippewa Falls and Hudson will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
