The Indian Creek Timberwolves stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past DePue, posting a 70-31 win on the road. While fans of Indian Creek might be used to big wins, the 39-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Indian Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeffrey Probst out in front who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Schrader, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Indian Creek used a slightly different lineup for their bout with DePue. Parker Murry made the most of the opportunity, scoring eight points along with five rebounds. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Despite the loss, DePue still got an impressive performance from Brock Coates, who scored 16 points.
Indian Creek is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for DePue, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Indian Creek won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newark at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Indian Creek is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season. DePue's road trip will continue as they head out to face Earlville at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Earlville will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something DePue surely won't give up without a fight.
