The Kennedy Knights won the last time they faced the Bergen Tech Knights, and things went their way on Tuesday, too. Kennedy was totally in charge, breezing past Bergen Tech 68-29 at home. That looming 39-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kennedy yet this season.
Kennedy can attribute much of their success to senior Jenai Blue, who posted a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Senior Trinaty Rivera was another key contributor, picking up 13 points in addition to seven boards.
The win was the fourth in a row for Kennedy and raised their record to 11-8. The loss dropped Bergen Tech's record to 6-5.
Kennedy will square off against Passaic today. Kennedy won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. Bergen Tech is staying on the road today to face off against Passaic County Tech. The MaxPreps rankings favor Bergen Tech, but they won't be able to rely on this superior ranking alone to carry them to victory.
