Jayden Stoddard Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jayden Stoddard produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wahkiakum to the win on Friday. Stoddard threw for 333 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 3.3 passing touchdowns per game. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
The win (which was Wahkiakum's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Stoddard and Wahkiakum will challenge Chief Leschi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gio Rodas Turns in Season-Best Effort
Oakville was led to victory by Gio Rodas, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Rodas threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Rodas must have Sound Christian's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Rodas last faced the Lions back in October of 2023, he threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Kona Resseau continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his third-straight game with at least 183 rushing yards. He rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 28 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Resseau has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 139.2 passing yards per game.
