The Parkway Central Colts will take on the Duchesne Pioneers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Parkway Central comes in on three and Duchesne on 12.
On Friday, Parkway Central needed a bit of extra time to put away Priory. They had just enough and edged out the Ravens 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Colts have posted since May 15, 2024.

Dalton Pagel tossed a big game, tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Carter Fleck was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of James Huff, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Duchesne was able to grind out a solid victory over Chaminade on Saturday, taking the game 7-2.
Drake Fortman made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Fortman was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jack Burle, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Cayden Wolfe was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Duchesne pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Parkway Central, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
