After two games on the road, Shore Regional is heading back home. They will take on the Central Regional Golden Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Shore Regional lost to Holmdel on the road by a decisive 71-52 margin.
The losing side was boosted by Kimi Sayson, who scored 20 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Conley Smolokoff was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Central Regional was beaten by Colts Neck 49-21 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Central Regional has scored all season.
Shore Regional's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7. As for Central Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.
