The Wagener-Salley War Eagles will head out to challenge the Horse Creek Academy Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagener-Salley has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
While Wagener-Salley's victory against Calhoun County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Wagener-Salley had just enough and edged out Calhoun County 13-11. The high-scoring effort was just what the War Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wagener-Salley has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .457. However, it's not like Horse Creek Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .483. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
