SAN DIMAS, Calif. -
San Dimas (Calif.) got back to .500 with its 44-0 victory over Nogales (La Puente, Calif.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Fausto Martinez touchdown run in the first quarter, the Saints were up 30-0 at the half.
San Dimas expanded its lead to 44 points entering the fourth quarter. SD scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Reece Alvarado.
Coming into the game the Saints had allowed 26.0 points per game this year. San Dimas held firm on the defensive front, and kept the Nobles right around the 1.0 points it had been averaging per game.
With the win SD extended its winning streak to four games.
San Dimas (4-4) goes up against Covina in a Valle Vista game matchup next week, while Nogales (2-5) locks horns with Covina also in a Valle Vista game.
