After five games on the road, Westlake Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Victory Christian Academy Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Westlake Academy was able to grind out a solid win over the Sentinel, taking the game 45-33.
Meanwhile, Victory Christian Academy can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Burton Adventist Academy 76-27 at home. Winning may never get old, but Victory Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Jerran Martin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Martin is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Caiden Shetter, who scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Westlake Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Victory Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 21-7 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
