The Bolton Bears fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Delhi Bears on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Delhi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jay Wright, who scored 20 points along with five assists and three steals. The matchup was Wright's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Jimmy Spruill was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Bolton has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Delhi, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
