The Dunmore Bucks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Holy Cross Crusaders at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Dunmore is headed into the  game fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by  a  15-5 margin over Western Wayne on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Dunmore needed considering they were shutout in their previous   contest.
  Rachel Walsh made a big impact no matter where she played. She  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. Walsh has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Walsh was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Allie Dempsey was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-5.  Tristan Canavan was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-5.
 Meanwhile,  after only one  run in their last  match, Holy Cross made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Honesdale  on Wednesday. Holy Cross put the hurt on Honesdale with a sharp  12-5 win.
 Dunmore's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Holy Cross, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season.
 Dunmore suffered a grim  15-3 defeat to Holy Cross  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. Can Dunmore avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
