Liberty has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Glenelg Gladiators at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Liberty's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
While it was all tied up 32-32 at halftime, Liberty was not quite Manchester Valley's equal in the second half on Tuesday. Liberty was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to Manchester Valley. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Glenelg had to settle for a 57-54 loss against Westminster on Monday. Glenelg has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Glenelg, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Liberty was able to grind out a solid win over Glenelg when the teams last played back in January, winning 46-34. Does Liberty have another victory up their sleeve, or will Glenelg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
