Toronto has gone a perfect 3-0 against United recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Red Knights will be playing at home against the Golden Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Toronto comes in on three and United on six.

United's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Toronto hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Red Knights didn't even let East Palestine on the board on Monday, marking the Red Knights' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Red Knights, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither United nor Malvern made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Golden Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Hornets a 4-0 shutout.

Quentin Taylor made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Parker Newburn was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cavan Jackson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Toronto pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for United, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

Toronto took their win against United in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-3 score. Will the Red Knights repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
