Triad suffered a rough 54-34 defeat at the hands of Benjamin Logan. Triad has struggled against Benjamin Logan recently, as their game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Triad's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Ferguson, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Abbey Overfield, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Triad has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Benjamin Logan, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.
Triad will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Liberty-Salem at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Benjamin Logan, they will head out on the road to square off against Graham Local at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
