Saranac came out on top against Northern Adirondack on Wednesday thanks in part to Abby Owen's efforts. Owen went 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. The performance marked the most runs she has had since back in May of 2024.

Owen and Saranac will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Franklin Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th. The last time these two faced off, Owen and Co. were forced to settle for a 5-4 loss. If she drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
