Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). They blew past the Charleston Tigers 19-2 on Wednesday. Considering the Bulldogs have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Charleston, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will host Coahoma County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs are facing the Red Panthers at the right time seeing as the Red Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Leflore County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.33 runs per game on average), something Charleston will no doubt try to take advantage of.
