Basketball Recap: Isabella Turner's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Indian Creek over Harvard

Indian Creek was the 43-33 winner over Harvard when they last played one another back in November of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Indian Creek Timberwolves fell to the Harvard Hornets 64-59. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isabella Turner, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. The matchup was Turner's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madison Boehne, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Indian Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Indian Creek now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Harvard, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Indian Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-13 defeat against Serena on the 12th. As for Harvard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 45-35 loss against Sandwich on the 11th.
