After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy, the Pleasant Ridge Rams were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against McLouth by a score of 44-36. For Pleasant Ridge, this counts as revenge for the 53-42 loss McLouth walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Noah Siebenmorgan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Mance, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Pleasant Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for McLouth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Ridge will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Tonganoxie at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for McLouth, McLouth and Kansas City Christian School will face off on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
