The Clarke County Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the McIntosh Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clarke County is hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought match, but Clarke County had to settle for a 42-40 loss against Choctaw County.
Meanwhile, McIntosh scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Tuesday. They breezed by Alabama School of Math & Science on the road to the tune of 49-20. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory McIntosh has managed all season.
Clarke County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for McIntosh, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Everything went Clarke County's way against McIntosh in their previous matchup back in November as Clarke County made off with a 53-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clarke County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
