The Wabash Apaches had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against North Miami by a score of 56-47 on Saturday. This was payback for Wabash, who suffered a 62-53 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Wabash's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaitlynn Honeycutt led the charge by scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kierra Wilson, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.
Wabash's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11. As for North Miami, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
