If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Dufur. On Friday they will take on Sherman at 7:00 PM. Sherman will need to watch out since Dufur have now posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
Dufur might be getting used to good results now that the team has seven wins in a row. They were fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Pilot Rock/Nixyaawii Community 46-8. Fans of Dufur have seen this all before: every one of Dufur's games this year has ended as a stomp.
Sherman ended up forfeiting their game against Imbler 0-2. Sherman's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it six losses in a row.
Dufur's victory lifted them to 7-0 while Sherman's loss dropped them down to 0-6. We'll see if Sherman are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
