For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Centralia and Tumwater meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. Centralia came up short against Tumwater, falling 13-1. The Tigers have struggled against the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Centralia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tumwater, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Centralia Tigers take on WF West Bearcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tumwater, they will face off against Woodland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodland's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Tumwater's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
