The Vista Ridge Rangers lost against the Glenn Grizzlies back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Vista Ridge fell to Glenn 60-54. While losing is never fun, Vista Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 670th, while Glenn is ranked 172nd).
Despite the loss, Vista Ridge still got an impressive performance from Tavon Mcadams, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Gavin Howard was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Vista Ridge has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Glenn, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
Vista Ridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lake Creek at 3:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Hopefully Lake Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. Glenn and Ellison will face off at 3:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Ellison has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 248 points over their last three contests.
