The Liberty Ranch Hawks were the 23-6 winner over the Union Mine Diamondbacks when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Liberty Ranch fell 21-14 to Union Mine on Friday. Liberty Ranch has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jayden Tinker was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown. Brock Buak iii was in the mix as well, providing Union Mine with two touchdowns.
Liberty Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Union Mine, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Liberty Ranch will head out on the road to face off against Galt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Galt has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th. As for Union Mine, they will be playing at home against El Dorado at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. El Dorado will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 679th, while Union Mine is ranked 338th).
