The Garden Grove Argonauts can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They managed a 47-42 victory over Segerstrom. The win was just what Garden Grove needed coming off of a 68-47 defeat in their prior contest.
Garden Grove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Juarez, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Drue Anzai was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Garden Grove's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16. As for Segerstrom, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garden Grove will face off against Katella at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Dillon Curtis and Anzai. As for Segerstrom, they will head out on the road to square off against Ocean View at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ocean View and Segerstrom are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
