The Norris Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Elkhorn Antlers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Norris will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Norris lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Blair, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Titans put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 13-3 win on Friday. Considering the Titans have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Eli Starner looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Crew Moeller was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Kaden Fredenburg also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Elkhorn faced Elkhorn North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Antlers walked away with an 8-5 victory over Elkhorn North. The win was some much needed relief for the Antlers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Beau Twohig was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Elkhorn is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 3-6 otherwise. Twohig was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Elliot Beister was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Bostin Oster, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Elkhorn was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Norris' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Elkhorn, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Norris was able to grind out a solid win over Elkhorn in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
