Dominion Academy won the last time they faced Christian Community and things went their way on Friday too. The Dominion Academy Sabers blew past the Christian Community Warriors 82-31. The Sabers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 45 points or more this season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lyla Miller, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelynn McKee, who posted nine points.

Dominion Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Christian Community, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.

Dominion Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Community, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ohio Valley Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ohio Valley Christian has five straight wins, Christian Community has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
