Westfield had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They put a hurting on Ludlow to the tune of 39-0. This was the first game for both teams, giving Westfield a 1-0 record and starting Ludlow off at 0-1.
Next week Westfield take on Leominster at Doyle Field at 7:00 PM. As for Ludlow, they will face off against Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett.
