Fort Vancouver had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 6-10 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the King's Way Christian Knights as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Considering the Trappers have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for King's Way Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games.

For King's Way Christian's part, Lauren Lewis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Fort Vancouver will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
