South Delta will challenge West Bolivar on the road at WEST BOLIVAR HS at 7:00 PM on Friday. South Delta will be hoping to build upon the 30-0 win they picked up against West Bolivar the last time they played.
South Delta strolled past Riverside with points to spare last Friday, taking the matchup 28-8. No one put up better numbers for South Delta than junior Adrain Warfield, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns. This marked the 3rd matchup in which Warfield has rushed for over 100 yards.
Meanwhile, West Bolivar have had to suffer through a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They made easy work of West Tallahatchie and carried off a 33-6 win. West Bolivar were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped West Bolivar to 1-6 and South Delta to 3-3. West Bolivar's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a South Delta defensive front that amassed five sacks against Riverside, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
