There's no place like home for Spring Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Olathe East Hawks 2-1 on Saturday. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Spring Hill got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 24-26, 33-31.

Their offense was headlined by Langly Krings and Avery Gallagher, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Elina Douglas and her 14 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Farah Shay, each putting up two.

Spring Hill's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Olathe East, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-18.

Spring Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Blue Valley Southwest on the 4th. As for Olathe East, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Lawrence on the 7th.
