Carter Allen gave up the fewest earned runs he has over his last two games on Monday. Nobody could stop him as he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Allen's strong effort led McPherson over Collegiate and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
