Florence had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Blazers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bobcats have posted since September 27th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Florence got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 21-25, 16-14.

Kelsi Chrisman paced Florence's offense, picking up 11 kills. Chrisman got some help from Sami Demuri and her 13 assists.

Florence's win bumped their record up to 26-12. As for Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-18.

Florence has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sheboygan Christian on the 18th. As for Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Manitowoc Lutheran on the 18th.
