The Eagles will head out to challenge the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Oak Mountain's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Hewitt-Trussville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, Hewitt-Trussville entered their tilt with Spain Park on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Jaguars 14-5. Considering the Huskies have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kinley Poe looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Hewitt-Trussville got a massive performance out of Corey Goguts, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Coleman, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
Hewitt-Trussville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in five consecutive contests.
Hewitt-Trussville pushed their record up to 19-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Oak Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.
Oak Mountain suffered a grim 8-2 defeat to Hewitt-Trussville when the teams last played back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
