Wood Memorial had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Springs Valley Blackhawks by a score of 69-60 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wood Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Springs Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Wood Memorial and Northeast Dubois will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Northeast Dubois has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Springs Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
