Makenzie Sease put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April on Tuesday. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Sease couldn't lead Gray Collegiate Academy over York, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled on Wednesday. Sadly, Sease's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the War Eagles' 36-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Sease and the War Eagles surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Wednesday's match.
