The Saginaw Rough Riders fell victim to the Aledo Bearcats's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a tough 3-0 loss at the hands of the Bearcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Saginaw of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Saginaw's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-2. As for Aledo, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brewer the next time they take the pitch. Saginaw will host Brewer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Aledo will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
