The Center Roughriders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Henderson 59-36. The victory was nothing new for Center as they're now sitting on three straight.
Lanaijha Johnson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 20 rebounds. The contest was her 21st in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Whisenant, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Center's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-7. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 19.33 points. As for Henderson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.
Center will head out on the road to face off against Kilgore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kilgore is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Henderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chapel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
