Basketball Recap: EF Academy Piles Up the Points Against Southwestern Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Webb, EF Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southwestern Academy Sun 66-33. The Hawks not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 11, 2024 (when they won 59-18).

The victory got EF Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Southwestern Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, EF Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Baldwin Park at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwestern Academy, they will challenge Monrovia at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. The Sun will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
