Blair found their leader in underclassman Gueryn Kay, who scored nine points.
Lincoln Northwest's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.5 points per game. As for Blair, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Northwest will square off against Elkhorn at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Blair, they will head out on the road to square off against Elkhorn North at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Elkhorn North will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
