First Colonial has been on the road for two straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Grassfield Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. First Colonial comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
On Tuesday, First Colonial was beaten by Bayside 65-25. First Colonial was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-9.
Meanwhile, Grassfield humbled Great Bridge with a 70-12 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-9.
First Colonial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Grassfield, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
First Colonial and Grassfield were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2020, but First Colonial came up empty-handed after a 48-47 defeat.
