The Havre de Grace Warriors lost against the Fallston Cougars back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Havre de Grace was dealt a 53-22 defeat at the hands of Fallston. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Havre de Grace has scored all season.
Azareya Whiting was Havre de Grace's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Whiting also led the team in assists with four. She held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
Ayla Galloway continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fallston, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Galloway is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Burns, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Havre de Grace has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Fallston, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Havre de Grace will take on Harford Tech at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Harford Tech is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Fallston, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Notre Dame Prep at 6:45 p.m. Notre Dame Prep is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
