Kickapoo lost to Hickman back in April of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Chiefs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Kewpies. Considering the Chiefs have won six games by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kickapoo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Hickman, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-15.

Kickapoo has already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Howell on the 3rd. Hickman has also already played their next game (against Staley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
