Baseball Recap: Burncoat's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Burncoat and Prouty meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Patriots came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 6-2. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Burncoat's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Prouty, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Burncoat will square off against Keefe Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prouty, they are taking a road trip to square off against Tantasqua Regional at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
