The Montgomery Catholic Knights had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Tallassee by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Montgomery Catholic also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2017.
Tallassee has fallen quite a ways from their 16-4 record last season and are now at 1-3-1.
Montgomery Catholic will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dale County at 7:00 p.m. on March 19th. As for Tallassee, they will head out on the road to square off against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
